SOL 8- Mel

Mel
Her real name is Marshmallow,
but we call her Mel.
She is usually quite loving,
although she walks away when she gets pet.
She's a very confusing dog.
but we still love her the best.

She always comes for every meal,
but she can only eat if we are all at the table.
She scarfs down her food, and then looks at us for more,
but she only gets what falls on the floor.
She always goes down to the stairwell, when she has eaten,
she then scruffs up the carpet there for more comfortable sleepin'.

She comes for biscuits every night,
we give them next to my bed.
She begs for more as we look on,
but she eventually gives up.
She settles down under my parent's bed,
and she goes to sleep.

Now you know,

the day in the life of Mel.
She can be quite odd,
but we love her the same,
and she'll always be one of my favorite dogs.
