I once got to name and hold a baby sheep,

Its eyes were a hue of blue so deep,
when it ran it started to leap,
I would pay for it the opposite of cheap,
as I watched it like a creep,
because it's attention I did seek.
It fell into a heap,
when it went to sleep.
It was something forever I wanted to keep,
for my heart it started to reap,
because of the cuteness of that baby sheep.
(true story)
Cool poem! Great rhythm and rhyming. That's also a really cool story, I would have loved to hold a baby sheep!
ReplyDeleteOh, Miles.
ReplyDeleteNice rhyme scheme, though it should have been BAA BAA BAA BAA.
What? Good poem, though.
I like your rhyming. Once I got to hold a baby goat, and it was probably one of the most adorable animals I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteNice rhyming! Once I got to hold a stuffed animal and it was amazing. What?
ReplyDeleteOnce, I got to hold, nothing. I have seen cute baby animals, but never held any. This is a really good poem.
